چکیده
Abstract The use of conventional reinforced concrete in the construction industry increases each year, especially developing countries. However, content, particularly cement production contributed to greenhouse gas emission subsequently increase climate change. Thus, slab containing high-density polyethene (HDPE) hollow spherical plastic bubble balls also known as deck slabs were introduced for sustainable construction. This type forms a that has less volume compared normal solid slab. Although this unique system can facilitate up 50% longer span slab, yet, it cause performance structure such flexural and shear capacity may be affected due thirty forty per cent fewer volumes. Hence, paper studies comparison two-way supported slabs; after being subjected area loading. square are 1200mm by width length with thickness 235mm. investigations experiments included strength, bending stiffness load-deflection behaviour impact Also, crack propagation pattern which differs was shown system, strength.

متن کاملPREDICTION OF LOAD DEFLECTION BEHAVIOUR OF TWO WAY RC SLAB USING NEURAL NETWORK APPROACH
Reinforced concrete (RC) slabs exhibit complexities in their structural behavior under load due to the composite nature of the material and the multitude and variety of factors that affect such behavior. Current methods for determining the load-deflection behavior of reinforced concrete slabs are limited in scope and are mostly dependable on the results of experimental tests. In this study, an ...

متن کاملEffect of Incorporating Foamed Glass on the Flexural Behaviour of Reinforced Concrete Beams
The flexural behaviour of concrete containing Foamed glass as partial replacement of coarse aggregate is investigated. The coarse aggregate was replaced with 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% Foamed glass. All other constituents were maintained the same. Reinforced concrete beams were cast using 2 bars of 8mm in diameter in the tensile zone. The density and compressive strength of concrete decreased a...
